Internal Systems Improvement Assessment

Identify where tools, workflow, data, and access are slowing the team down. The assessment turns scattered issues into a prioritized 90-day roadmap with ownership, dependencies, and practical controls.

What is included

A grounded view of the systems people actually use.

Current-state assessment

  • System and spreadsheet inventory
  • Priority workflow and data-handoff mapping
  • Access, ownership, and administrative review
  • Duplicate work and technical-debt findings

Improvement roadmap

  • Findings prioritized by value, risk, and effort
  • 90-day action plan with accountable owners
  • Recommended automation and control points
  • Decision log, dependencies, and success measures

Good fit

Use this assessment when the team knows the work is harder than it should be.

It is designed for one defined business function, such as sales operations, customer service, finance operations, or internal administration. Broader cross-team redesign belongs in the Operational Systems Improvement Blueprint.

Typical inputs

  • List of systems and key spreadsheets
  • Priority workflow examples
  • Existing procedures or role definitions
  • Interviews with process owners and system administrators

Frequently asked questions

Assessment boundaries

Does this include implementing the roadmap?

No. The fixed-scope assessment produces the evidence and roadmap. Implementation can be estimated separately after priorities and ownership are agreed.

Can Salesforce be included?

Yes. Salesforce can be one of the systems reviewed. For a metadata-led Salesforce architecture assessment, use the dedicated Salesforce Architecture Review.

How is sensitive system information handled?

Access is limited to what the written scope requires. Credentials are not collected through the public website, and the assessment can begin with exported documentation when direct access is unnecessary.
